Good morning.
Some of you have noticed a new validation field requiring a physician name for the documentation of all controlled substance administrations.
For STANDING ORDERS – you will place Dr. Janelle Martin in the physician field.
For MEDICAL CONSULTATION/ON-LINE orders – you will place the on-line ordering physician’s name.
After confirming with MIEMSS today, this field was added as a result of changing DEA regulations. These fields are required to be completed.
